I love it; for 2 reasons 1.)This version is not much more or less authentic than today’s popularized Irish dance & 2.) As a person of Scots descent myself， I can say that while I respect & appreciate the standard traditional forms， Scottish dancing was in severe need of a facelift and a marketability boost， to make it more of a flexible social tradition， with more room for personal expression， which is more likey the way it was originally done.
