. Somewhat of a last straw for me， this kind of writing. It may be the point of the story， to see and hear only the narrator’s view of things， but I find it an irritating way to narrate. Indeed， I dislike the kind of 但竄ﾃ徒now-it-all但竄ﾀ narrative tone. It keeps me at a distance and I wouldn’t want to read any further.
